Rich fabrics and layers usually stand out in a normal crowd of people, making it easy enough to pick out a fellow person from the gothic culture.
Often times, white makeup and dark eye and lip makeup can be considered the trademark look of the gothic culture. Music can also be considered to be a large part of gothic culture as well.
